Welcome Back!!! St. William Volleyball would like to welcome all our players back for the 2009 Season. This year 278 girls registered to participate and we will be fielding 12 Travel teams and 10 Intramural teams. Full team practices for the travel teams will begin the week of January 12. The Intramural team practices will begin the first week of March. 6th Grade Travel Team Once again, SWV will be fielding only one 6th grade travel team that will be selected through a tryout process. Tryouts for the 6th grade team will take place on Monday, January 12, from 5:00 - 6:45PM. The list of players selected to the travel team will be posted on this website on Tuesday evening, January 13. Anyone not selected to the Travel team will participate in the Intramural League. |
St. William CYO policy regarding earrings: As a safety precaution, earrings may NOT be worn during volleyball games and practices. There are no exceptions to this policy. We are aware that newly pierced earrings cannot be taken out for several weeks. However, we cannot make exceptions for this. If you would like your child to participate in the volleyball program, you should refrain from any new ear piercing prior to and during the season. Any child who refuses to remove her earrings will not be permitted to play. Covering the earrings with band aids or tape will not be permitted. Other jewelry, including necklaces and bracelets, cannot be worn as well. This policy will be strictly enforced. |
