2009 Season Review:

St. William Volleyball Captures 2 Diocesan Championships

St. William Volleyball captured two Diocesen Championships in 2009 taking
the titles in the 7th grade division and Senior division. The 7th Grade travel
team defeated Our Lady of Peace, 2-1, in the Finals to capture their second
consecutive Diocesan Championship. Meanwhile the Senior travel team
defeated St. Peter, 2-0, in their Finals. Congratulation to the girls on an
outstanding season. Great Job!!! Thanks to all the fans for coming out and
cheering on the team.

Two St. William Teams Win Sportsmanship Award

Congratulations to the two 9th grade teams, coached by Sonia T. and Tom B.,
for being awarded the Sportsmanship Award in each of their divisions. The
award is given to the team that best demonstrates the qualities of good
sportsmanship throughout the season, as voted on by all the coaches in their
division.

St. William Wins 2 Division Titles and 7 Playoff Spots

The 2009 season was another highly successful one for St. William Volleyball
as seven teams qualified for playoff competition. Of the 7 teams, two teams
were division winners, eventually becoming the Diocesen Champions. One
team, the 7th Grade travel team completed a perfect 30 wins and no losses
record. Congratulations to all the teams for their hard work and dedication.
