2008 Season Review:

6th Grade Win Diocesan Championship

The 6th Grade St. William Travel team defeated Our Lady of Victory, 2-1, in
the Finals to capture their first Diocesan Championship. Congratulation
to the girls on an outstanding season. Great Job!!! Thanks to all the fans
for coming out and cheering on the team.

Two St. William Teams Win Sportsmanship Award

Congratulations to Travel team 7-2, coached by Carol L., and team 8-3,
coached by Meg C., for being awarded the Sportsmanship Award in each
of their divisions. The award is given to the team that best demonstrates
the qualities of good sportsmanship throughout the season, as voted on
by all the coaches in their division.

St. William Wins 4 Division Titles and 9 Playoff Spots

The 2008 season was very successful for St. William Volleyball as nine
teams qualified for playoff competition. Of the 9 teams, four teams were
division winners. Congratulations to all the teams for their hard work and
dedication.
